Hamilton said the news came as a big surprise because she thought she’d have to have her ovaries removed just last year. Meanwhile, Neville said he was brimming with excitement.

The golden girl of Irish film is in the sunny south east to film scenes from the big screen adaptation of  Colm Toibin’s (no, not yer man from Twitter, the author) Brooklyn.

The movie, which also stars Domhnall Gleeson, tells the tale of a young Irish lass who emigrates to New York and ends up living in – you guessed it – Brooklyn.
